Waves' SoundGrid: Recording, playback & use of plug-ins
With the Klark Teknik DN32-WSG network card, you can easily connect your Behringer X32 or MIDAS M32 mixing console to a Wave SoundGrid system. This gives you access to Wave's popular plug-ins in all situations in the studio or live. SoundGrid is based on either a host computer or a Waves DSP server, which can compute audio signals with almost no latency. The system works with the standard IP protocol and can be extended with additional DSP servers, stageboxes and computers using standard LAN switches. Using a special converter, the Klark Teknik DN32-WSG system can even be connected to a MADI network.
This plug-in card supports 32 input and output channels, e.g. it provides an insert for each channel of your console. For routing, Waves provides driver software in which all inserts, sends and aux ways can be equipped with effects within the maximum number of channels.
