great value piece of kit and perfect when your tight for space - 2 mics on one stand (for rack toms) - you need a spanner to tighten properly .

I bought this stereo bar to use in combination with a table mic stand. I need portability and flexibility, in a situation where I don't have much surface area. So I bought the MS-1 table stand and this stereo bar to try and see if it would work. And yes, it did! And I managed to mount three mics, using the stand's thread, which extends out enough, to mount a mic in the centre. In this way, I mounted an AKG 3000 in the centre, and two Rode NT5's on the stereo bar. The bar's arms were extended pointing backwards, in a triangle-like shape, for interviewing two guest who were sitting close-by across from me. (note: the mic used were not specifically chosen, but what I had at hand at the moment. In any case, it gives you an idea of what this stereo bar, and the MS-1 for that matter, can take).
