LAB Gruppen IPX 1200 at a glance
High power density, competitive cost and efficient power consumption make the LAB IPX 1200 the ideal compact yet powerful amplification solution for fixed installations, mobile corporate AV systems or live PA setups. Rated at 2 x 600W into 4 ohms, the IPX 1200 delivers reliable power and performance in a single rack. But raw muscle is not enough. At the heart of the IPX platform is a state-of-the-art DSP engine with up to 40 real-time parametric EQs with multiple control ranges, adjustable gain, input and output delay, and high and low pass filters adjustable to any frequency.
The DSP also provides comprehensive protection for your speaker system in the form of the innovative software-controlled Speaker Protect Limiter. This can be easily configured via the IPX Controller software. All setup parameters for input mixing, DSP functions and limiter settings are accessible via two navigation buttons, a rotary encoder and the illuminated front panel display. In addition, there are buttons for muting individual channels, and up to 100 user-defined presets can be stored. Network configuration is quick and easy as pie thanks to automatic detection and identification of all connected amplifiers.
AES3 digital inputs
With standard AES3 digital inputs, the IPX 1200 connects directly to digital console stage boxes or accepts AES inputs along with built-in sample rate conversion between all common sample rates in the digital domain, eliminating the need for a D-A/A-D conversion cycle. Additionally, the AES3 inputs can be set to automatically failover to analog (perfect redundancy solution for keeping the show on the road or in the case of installations - maintaining system integrity for mission critical PA/VA system applications). In addition, inputs can be mixed for all four inputs, and connections are available on the output side via terminals or Speaker Twist.
IPX Controller
At the heart of the IPX Series is the intuitive and fast graphical user interface of the IPX Controller software, which lets you control virtually every aspect of DSP performance for any device on the network. Available for PC, Mac and iPad, the IPX Controller was designed from the ground up with touchscreen operation in mind. Quite simply, the controller gives you an edge when it comes to tuning your system to perfection.
