Hybrid guitar amplifier with ECC83 preamp tube and 120 Watt solid state power amp, including foot switch
You'll want your playing to be heard. That's why we amplify the sound of this beautiful tube driven preamp of the Laney LV300H with a 120 watt output stage, that can deliver into a 4 ohm load.
Main features of the Laney LV300H include:
Power RMS 120 Watts
Input: 1x Jack
Channels: 3 (Clean, Drive 1 and Drive 2)
Equalisation: Independent Bass, Mid, and Treble for Clean and Drive
Bright Switch on the Clean Channel
Reverb with independent level controls for Clean and Drive
Ive had a Laney LV300H for almost 4 years now, which i use as my main amp. I use it for bedroom practice, for band rehearsal in the studio, for playing live shows... And it delivers. The clean channel is what i use the most. Its crystal-clear, rich and it really lets the character of different guitars show (unlike many amps that make different guitars sound exactly the same). The drive channels (1 and 2) are not as good. They definitely lack in comparison with great tube amps, which provide a better, more natural, distortion. It handles effects perfectly ive run different effects pedals and multi-fx units through it, and the Laney LV300H makes a great job with the external effects. Its very well-built and reliable, and ive gigged with it without a single problem. I never even carry a backup amp with me, thats how much i trust on the Laney LV300Hs durability. For the price its a great option for every guitarist on a budget who needs an amp head with an excellent clean channel and more than enough wattage to fit his every need. The Laney LV300H is very simple and intuitive to use. The clean channel has a dedicated EQ and reverb level adjustment knob, plus a "Bright" switch to further improve its clarity. The drive channels have one gain level adjustment knob and one "V-scoop" switch (to scoop the mid frequencies) each, but share the same EQ and reverb level adjustment knob. As far as the features go, it has everything one would need. It has an FX loop on the back, it includes a footswitch for remote channel switching and turning the reverb on/off... In this price range, its hard to beat the Laney LV300H if you just want a simple amp to run your effects or multi-fx units through.
