Finished in transparent blue Burst, the four-string presents an elaborate neck-through construction with a five-piece maple-walnut neck and body wings made of intensively grained swamp ash. The handy "SE Bass 4" neck profile guarantees optimal playing characteristics over all 24 frets of the rosewood fingerboard, in which naturally bird inlays mark the layers. A maple veneer also underlines the dignified look of the electric bass.
Passive pickups and Hipshot hardware
At the bass amp, the SE Kingfisher Bass uses two powerful PRS Kingfisher 4B 'H' humbuckers and a classic passive circuit to deliver flexible bass tones that lay down the right groove for almost any style of music with a clear treble spectrum and rich punch in the mid and low frequencies.
