The Remo Ring Control Mufflers are a set of Acoustic Drum Mufflers, 14" diameter.
The Ring Control features foam donuts for partial muffling. Specials plastic trays hold them in place and easily mount under the head and on top of the bearing edge. Triple notched system secures pads without adhesives, even on bass drums with low tension.

This piece of kit is easy to fit and gets rid of that annoying overtone all drums have, I have a similar dampening system on the Bass drum. This system allows the punch to sound through and as an added benefit controlling volumes from edge to centre is a breeze,
i wanted something that would keep the feel of an acoustic snare drum but would significantly reduce the volume without having to stack lots of dampening on the top of the batter head since this just gets in they way of the sticks.
