The RØDECaster Video from Rode is a state-of-the-art video and audio production console that offers versatility and ease of use. Equipped with a powerful CPU, the console offers intuitive control for content creators, livestreamers and professional video producers. The integrated high-end audio interface ensures first-class sound quality, while the clear control panel makes it easy to operate.
The RØDECaster Video has four HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs, allowing for flexible video processing. With five USB-C ports, including two for video and USB audio devices, two as a dual audio/video interface and a separate port for external storage devices, the device offers numerous connection options. It supports direct recording in H.264 format to external USB drives as well as separate ISO recording of six video sources and the program feed. Furthermore, direct RTMP streaming via Ethernet or Wi-Fi is possible, allowing seamless integration with popular platforms such as YouTube, Twitch and Facebook.
User-friendly control panel for precise control
The intuitive control panel includes seven scene buttons,six source buttons and a variety of function buttons for actions such as fade to black, media overlays and multi-source layouts. The built-in 2-inch touchscreen and two rotary controls allow precise control and configuration. Scene buttons can be used to create custom layouts that include multiple video sources, chroma key effects and media content. Automatic camera and scene changes, depending on the audio signal, simplify operation for solo producers.
Versatile signal processors for precise audio editing
The audio section of the RØDECaster Video includes two Neutrik combo jacks (XLR/6.35mm) for microphones, instruments or line sources and two integrated wireless receivers for RØDE wireless transmitters. The integrated preamp provides ultra-low noise preamplification of up to 76dB for impressive audio quality. Extensive signal processors such as compressor, equalizer, de-esser, Noise gate, high-pass filter, aural exciter, big bottom and compressor are available for each audio input.
