Roland TD-17KL E-Drum Set
The TD-17KVX is a high-quality electronic drum kit from Roland featuring 310 sounds, 50 kits and a professional 12" snare pad. Equipped with the sound engine of Roland's flagship TD-50, it offers excellent performance at an affordable price. With various coaching functions and quick recording it is the ideal partner for you to become a great drummer. In the module, 50 preset and 50 user kits are freely accessible. Wav samples can be easily imported into the module via SD card. Each sound of the Roland TD-17KVX is individually adjustable in pitch, wire tension and dampening. A treble and bass equalizer as well as reverb and compressor are provided for each channel, plus of course a headphone output, two extra trigger inputs, an AUX-IN, MIDI OUT and a USB Audio to PC/MAC connection. Thanks to the Bluetooth 4.2 transceiver it is possible to stream music wirelessly to the module and to listen to your own recordings again. The large version of the Roland TD-17 comes with the newly developed PDX-12 mesh pad, 3 x PDX-8 mesh pads for the toms, the VH-10 hi-hat, 2 x CY-12 crash pads and 1 x CY-13R ride pad, KD-10 kick pad, the MDS compact rack and all cables.
The Roland TD-17KVX contains a large number of original TD-50 samples, so you always get the best sound, whether in the rehearsal room or on stage. With authentic playing feel and a variety of coaching functions, as well as quick recording, the drummer can measure his progress and it becomes much easier to practice. Even for complete beginners, the module provides effective learning functions that teach the absolute basics simply and precisely.
The TD-17 module includes a coach mode to assist with daily exercises. Whether it's warming up, developing a groove, a sense of tempo and timing, or building up physical stamina, the accompanying score lets you always know how you've just played. In addition to taking drum lessons with a teacher, the coaching functions of the Roland E-Drum Set help you to achieve faster success and learn to play drums more effectively. Thanks to the smartphone storage on the module, you can watch instructional videos or recordings directly at the drum set.
With the new Roland VH-10 Hi-Hat, drummers don't have to change their playing habits because it can be mounted on a conventional hi-hat stand. The newly developed PDX-12 Mesh Pad for the snare offers a very authentic playing feel and with its 12" size it can be played like an acoustic snare. In addition, the module contains a Bluetooth 4.2 transceiver, which allows music from a smartphone or laptop to be streamed directly to the module for playing along. You can also record your performances in quick recording mode and listen to them again afterwards. This way, any need for improvement can be quickly identified. Demo recordings of a band can be enhanced with a professional drum track and sent directly to the other band members. In addition to the internal demo songs audio material can be played and recorded via SD card. This way you can easily create audio tracks for drum cover videos on YouTube.
