The Seymour Duncan Antiquity Humbucker is designed to replicate not only the sound, but also the look of coveted PAF pickups as closely as possible. With special attention to authentic ingredients, the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop relies on original butyrate coilformers, enameled 42AWG Mag-Wire winding wire, and a 2.5-inch Alnico II magnet with matching metal and maple spacer for the model. Of course, following the classic recipe, the coils are not waxed and are wired with a single-core push-back wire. The result is a classic mid-fifties PAF with an airy top end, defined mids and a balanced vintage output.
