Short Scale 4-string bass with figured maple top, EMG pickups and active electronics, including gig bag
With the Spector Bantam 4 Black Cherry Gloss, Stuart Spector is launching a handy short scale electric bass with a surprisingly powerful sound and high playing comfort. Based on the coveted Spector design, the compact electric bass features a curved alder body with a chic maple top, which not only supports the sonorous sound of the four-string but also contributes to its pleasingly low weight thanks to its generous resonance chambers. In addition, the five-bolt, three-part maple neck is reinforced by graphite inlays and can be played excellently thanks to its slim profile with 38 mm saddle width and the shortened 30" scale length (762 mm). Active EMG 35DC humbuckers and the active EMG BTS 2-band tone control also provide the bass amplifier with versatile sounds of modern character that can be integrated into almost any musical style. High-quality hardware in the form of the Spector locking bridge and precise Gotoh GB-707 bass tuners complete the Spector Bantam 4 Black Cherry Gloss.
