I had my friends Ernie Ball Musicman Bass at my house in order to sell it for him. I found this to be an amazing bass but couldn’t justify the selling price of £1400. I therefore looked at the next best option - The sterling version - well I’m no professional but I am well impressed by the Sterling version and it suits my needs and pocket. A very well crafted bass made in Indonesia by the Cort guitar company I am lead to believe. Quality control is fantastic and it plays well out of the box- if you’re thinking of buying my advice is don’t hesitate - you won’t be disappointed!!

This bass is a gift for my teenage son who showed an interest is playing bass 6 months ago. Having played a budget bass to start with and remaining interested, it was time for an upgrade. This is a well made instrument with good tones at a good price. The playability of the neck is lovely and the tones you can get out of the one pickup is pretty awesome. My son says it feels so nice to play and has not put it down. Overall a cracking bass in this price range.
