The TC Electronic Music 6000 MkII Signal Processor is an all-round studio solution consisting of an external rack mounted CPU and a separate control unit (Icon MkII) , on which a variety of professional plug-ins for Compression, Limiting, Metering, EQ, Delay and Reverb are hosted. The system is tailored to the needs of modern recording studios and pays special attention to excellent and lively sounding Reverb and Delay sounds. In addition, there is an effect (NonLin2) for inverted or envelope shaped reverb tails, a vintage Digital Reverb (DVR2) , as well as a Chorus and a Phase effect. Three of the reverb algorithms have been programmed to create surround rooms or add reverb to existing multi-channel tracks.
Overall, the TC Electronic Music 6000 MkII and Icon MkII Remote impress with intuitive operation, lively sound and exemplary customer support from the manufacturer. It can be easily integrated into existing studio networks based on the Ethernet protocol and can be expanded to up to 16 Inputs and Outputs via optional I/O Cards . The main unit is delivered with 8 Digital AES/EBU Inputs/Outputs . Special attention has been paid to surround production, exact loudness and volume monitoring and a generous configuration with multi-band compressors and equalizers.
