Single-channel guitar amp in pedal format with reverb and tremolo
The Victory V4 The Duchess Guitar Amp packs a full-featured, single-channel hybrid amp with classic American Vintage-Sound into a handy pedal box that's perfect for building a handy rig for stage and Studio. While the four-tube Preamp delivers lively guitar tones ranging from glassy cleans to comforting crunch, the 180-watt Class D power amp provides stage-ready volume. In addition to reverb and tremolo effects, Victory equips the V4 The Duchess Amp with a Two Notes Torpedo embedded speaker simulation to achieve particularly natural sounds when directly picking up the guitar signal.
Tube preamp with American sound character
The carefully tuned Preamp of the V4 The Duchess features three CV4014 tubes and one EC900 tube to achieve a typical American sound character with glassy transparency and smooth midrange. The volume control determines the input sensitivity, so that not only full cleans can be realized, but also wonderful crunch sounds that react with lively dynamics to the player and the guitar used. To customize the sound, Victory also equips the pedal amplifier with a classic tone stack for bass, mid and treble.
Victory V4 The Duchess Guitar Amp offers a channel with reverb and tremolo, as well as a speaker simulation of Two Notes.
Reverb and Tremolo
In addition to the perfectly tuned digital reverb effect, which ranges from a subtle spaciousness in the sound to epic depth, the Victory V4 The Duchess Amp comes up with a classic tremolo effect. Controls for Speed and Depth determine the speed and intensity of the volume modulation, from a slight tremble to a choppy staccato. A serial effects path is also available for integrating additional effects devices into the signal path.
Two Notes Torpedo speaker simulation
In addition, Victory equips the 4 The Duchess Guitar Amp with a Two Notes Torpedo Embedded speaker simulation to achieve a particularly natural sound during direct pickup. A total of six impulse responses optimally tailored to the amp's sound character are available, which can be replaced by your own or third-party IRs via the USB port if desired. It is also possible to route the speaker simulation to the balanced line out, which is available in addition to the dedicated "Speaker Sim" XLR output.
On the back of the V4 The Duchess amplifier are all connections in a clear arrangement.
180 watt Class D power amplifier
Last but not least, Victory Amplifiers equips the V4 The Duchess Guitar Amp with a modern Class D power amp. With up to 180 watts of power, the power amp promises high volume reserves, which are easily sufficient for band rehearsals and gigs. and to prevent unwanted noise in a quiet studio environment, the fan of the power amp can be turned off for a short time.
