The Zoom H2essential is a compact and versatile cell phone recorder suitable for a variety of recording situations. It offers 32-bit float recording that requires no gain control, ensuring distortion-free sound quality. With its three integrated microphones, it can record in mono, Stereo and surround. It also has a 3.5 mm stereo input for external microphones and a 3.5 mm output for headphones or line signal. The built-in loudspeaker and mixer offer a quick check of recordings and simple volume control. The color 1.3-inch LCD display also ensures clear operation. With a voice control function and a low-cut filter, the H2essential is user-friendly and versatile. In addition, the device offers advanced functions such as a low-pass filter, pre-record, auto-record and an adjustable playback speed.
The device can also be controlled remotely via Bluetooth using the optional BTA-1 unit. As a USB microphone, it is compatible with Windows, Mac, iOS and Android. It also supports Micro SDHC and SDXC cards up to 1 TB. The Zoom H2essential can be connected to a smartphone with a USB cable to record videos with professional sound. The recorder can be powered either by two AA batteries (up to 11 hours of operation), an AC adapter or USB.
