The Artist Control provides a host of controls to speed up andenhance the workflow process with almost any audio or videoapplication. At the heart of Artist Control is a newhigh-resolution 800 x 480 pixel LED-backlit touch-screen interfacethat offers a wide viewing angle, bright graphics and excellentcolour consistency. The touch-screen not only displays alltop-level project information like track names, metering (from monoto 5.1 surround data), automation mode, fader/pan values, etc., butalso allows the user to solo/mute/record arm tracks, trigger SoftKeys, perform surround panning, and much more directly from thesurface.

Soft keys are one of Artist Control's most powerful features tospeed up workflow, instantly updating when switching betweenapplications and providing quick access to the most used functions.Artist Control ships with comprehensive Soft Key sets for mostmedia applications, and custom Soft Keys can easilyy be created foralmost any function from basic keystroke shortcuts to complex macrocommands for each application.
