The Bose L1 Compact system is small enough to fit in your trunk or back seat, and its innovative modular design makes setup easy and fast. You can arrange it in either a collapsed configuration for smaller spaces or a taller, extended configuration for larger ones. No extra gear to haul. No heavy speakers to hoist onto stands. No speaker cables. The L1 Compact system's slim loudspeaker distributes sound clearly and evenly throughout the room, thanks to Bose Spatial Dispersion technology.
The speaker's unusual vertical shape makes it distinctly different from conventional PA speakers and has a very positive effect on sound coverage. Even audience and band members off to the extreme sides hear the same clear, tonally balanced sound as those in front. With the L1 Compact system, you don't have to carry a separate amplifier, mixer or bass cabinet: they're already built in. I already own a two ev speakers with a bass bin and purchased this to save alot of carrying as 60% of my gigs are a smaller audience. This will suit my needs perfectly. Easy of set up with no sacrifice in sound quality.

It was really easy to set up and it sounds great. No hazzle at all. You’re almost a little suspicious that it wont work but it does. If you use an acoustic guitar it is a must to have gear that keeps the performance safe with no disturbing feedback. So this is it.

I was looking for an easy PA set up for guitar, midi guitar and vocals. I have a 1000w yamaha active speaker ,that I used but it was SO muddy. Also you could only hear it when standing right in front of it. BOSE solved all of this! VERY clear sound. It is loud. I can play it much louder than my Yamaha because the sound is Clean!! Also good carry bags! Light as hell!! You get what you pay for! These are for life! The only slight irritation is the limited input options. But just connect a small mixer if you need more inputs.
