Precise sound thanks to modern DSP technology

The ESI nEAR i5 is a powerful 2-way active loudspeaker that uses modern DSP-controlled Class D amplifier technology and newly developed drivers to deliver precise sound with a powerful low-mid range. The combination of a 5-inch paper dome woofer and a 1-inch silk dome tweeter ensures a balanced output across the entire frequency spectrum from 44 Hz to 20 kHz.

A special feature is the Character Selection Switch, which allows you to switch between the analytical Reference mode for precise monitoring and the Mix & Listen mode for musical reproduction. In addition, a high- and low-frequency shelf EQ , each with four selectable settings, allows individual adjustment to the room and personal preferences.

The front bass reflex port allows placement close to the wall without sound restrictions. Thanks to professional connection options, including balanced XLR and unbalanced TRS 6.35 mm inputs, the speaker can be integrated versatilely into various setups. A volume control with 21-stage potentiometer facilitates precise level adjustment. With a total output of 90 watts - 50 watts for the bass driver and 40 watts for the tweeter - the nEAR i5 delivers a maximum sound pressure level of 97 dB peak.

The integrated LED display provides a visual Feedback indication of the operating status by signaling on mode in orange, standby mode in red and overload by flashing. The power supply is versatile via an integrated power supply unit for voltages from 100 to 240 V at 50/60 Hz.
