Black laptop stand by Fame!
I bought two of these for my homestudio. It allows me to save a lot of space: i can put my mixer above my synths, allows me to put also the laptop... it is built like a tank.. i thing it can hold about 100kg on top of it!! It is thick, heavy metal. I was surprised by its quality.
The only thing i would like it to have would be axis rotation, as it only tilts upwards and downwards.
It has rubber coverings so it will not chip the gear it holds. Very nice piece of hardware!
In the field are many other products, either cheap and very cheerful or some very expensive. This laptop stand is absolutely great price/performance.
Sturdy, flexible and not to heave. Also very easy to transport so perfect for mobile DJs
Buying laptop stands is somewhat of a minefield. So many out there, all varying prices and a load of mixed reviews.
I had a shortlist of stands and through a process of elimination, O narrowed it down to this.
I'm really not disappointed at all!
The instruction sheet you may as well throw away as it's no help at all, but logical thought is your friend putting it together (it's quite simple).
It's weighty and sturdy. This really isn't going anywhere and on the off-chance you meed to, this also comes with a "G" style desk clamp to secure it to almost any flat surface.
The base legs are welded, but the mounting area for your laptop is width adjustable. There are 2 coverspiles on each arm that act as "stops", so even the thicker laptops won't slide off.
There's a nice selection of tilt angles too and once in place, you tighten up the secondary bolt. The primary bolt being the initial lock.
Although heavy, I highly recommend this stand.
