With the Fender 70th Anniversary Player Stratocaster Nebula Noir, Fender is launching a special limited edition Player Strat in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the iconic Stratocaster. This model, without doubt one of the most famous guitar designs, offers classic specifications from the Player series and also has special features marking the Strat's milestone birthday. A matching deluxe gig bag is included with each 70th Anniversary Player Stratocaster Nebula Noir.

Traditional Strat construction
The basic construction follows the Strat recipe that has now been tried and tested for seven decades, consisting of a classically shaped alder body and bolt-on maple neck. The body features the ergonomic shape including tummy cut and comfortable forearm contour, while the maple neck with its modern 'C' backshape provides a familiar feel across all 22 frets of the rosewood fingerboard. As a special highlight, the body also features a unique "Nebula Noir" high-gloss finish with a three-dimensional glitter effect.
Pure Vintage '59 Single Coils
As a tribute to the golden era of the Stratocaster, the three Fender Pure Vintage '59 single coils in the neck, middle and bridge positions evoke the incomparable sounds of the late fifties. For this purpose, the three single coils were manufactured using the winding techniques of the time and traditional components, such that the tonal result accurately reproduces all the facets of a proper Strat. The underlying wiring offers a common master volume in the classic manner as well as two tone controls for the neck and middle pickup and a pickup selector switch with five switching positions.
2-Point Tremolo & ClassicGear tuners
Striking the perfect balance between classic vintage-look and modern functionality, the Fender 70th Anniversary Player Stratocaster Nebula Noir is equipped with premium in-house hardware. The synchronized 2-point tremolo enhances the operation of the classic six-bolt vintage trem, while six Kluson-style Fender Classic Gear tuners ensure precise tuning. All add-on parts of the Fender 70th Anniversary Player Stratocaster Nebula Noir are kept in a uniform nickel & chrome look.
