The Fender FA-345 Auditorium Ovangkol Exotic at a glance.
Thanks to its mid-sized grand auditorium design and lightweight construction, the Fender FA-345 Auditorium turns out to be a true all-rounder. The body is made of ultra-thin laminated tonewoods, which provide an amazingly rich yet delicate sound. Therefore, the acoustic guitar is perfectly suited for strumming as well as for Pickings. Meanwhile, the flat neck, which in combination with the generous cutaway can be operated easily and obligingly up to the highest registers, provides for an elevated playability. Furthermore, the adapted hardware made of GraphTech TUSQ guarantees a clean intonation on the entire scale length of 643 mm. Visually, the instrument is rounded off by the open tuners and the fine inlays, which give the instrument a very noble touch.

Structure and woods
In order for the instrument to produce a balanced and wide-ranging sound, the body is made of thin wood laminate, with lacewood on the back and sides and ovangkol on the top. This gives the guitar a very individual appearance while producing a warm and pleasant tone. The Nato neck, meanwhile, offers exceptionally easy playability across all 20 frets set into a walnut fingerboard.
Hardware and design
The compensated saddle and the 43 mm wide nut are made of GraphTech TUSQ and are precisely matched to each other, so that all tones are cleanly developed. Open chrome tuners are set into the large headstock for easy tuning of the 6 steel strings. For support, the tuner integrated in the Preamp of the Fishman pickup system can be used, which shows the respective pitch on an oval LED display and is powered by a 9V block battery.
