The Fender Redondo Player Lefthand Jetty Black produces a powerful and warm sound even with light strokes. Therefore, the acoustic guitar from the Fender California series is excellent for vocal accompaniment. In addition to its charming sound characteristics, the instrument convinces with comfortable playability and not least with its tasteful appearance. Furthermore, the dreadnought can be connected to an amplifier thanks to a pickup with a side preamp and can be individually tuned to it. The highlights of the guitar are undoubtedly the characteristic electric guitar headstock and the multi-ply, gold pickguard.

Construction and woods

The construction of the Redondo Player consists of a solid Sitka spruce top and a laminated body made of mahogany, which together produces a defined and at the same time wide-ranging sound. With the help of a flat scalloped X-bracing, every note is produced with a fast response, so that beginners and advanced players alike can effortlessly achieve maximum sound results. At the same time, the flat mahogany neck with a slim-taper 'C' profile ensures easy fingering of all 20 frets. To allow ideal access to the walnut fingerboard, the body is equipped with a generous cutaway.

Hardware and Design

The 43 mm wide nut and compensated saddle are made of GraphTech Nubone to ensure that the dreadnought guitar intonates cleanly over the entire 650 mm scale length. The headstock is equipped with sealed nickel tuners that ensure user-friendly tuning of the 6 steel strings. With its custom look and classy Jetty Black finish, the instrument embodies the signature Fender vibe that has been popular with musicians around the world for decades.

Electronics

In order to realize the acoustic sound also amplified, the guitar is equipped with a Fishman pickup system. The bass and treble frequencies can be pre-mixed via a side preamp. Another practical tool is the integrated tuner, which shows the respective pitch via a large LED display. The active system is powered by a 9V block battery.
