The GHS Bass Boomers 18-50 Long Scale Plus deliver brilliance, volume, sustain and strength.
The GHS Bass Boomers are the classic Power String and they have been for years. Today they are one of the most popular bass strings in the world and are used by bass greats including the legendary Flea. Like the guitar version, Bass Boomers feature a nickel plated steel wrap that provides brilliance, volume, sustain and strength, unlike any other bass string
The main features of the GHS Bass Boomers 18-50 Long Scale Plus include:
Brilliance, volume, sustain and strength
Nickel-Plated steel wrapped tightly around a round core wire

GHS 4 String Bass Boomers 18-50 Long Scale Plus 18-30-40-50
Have used this set of string to turn a Sigma acoustic bass into a piccolo bass. The strings were easy to fit (I didn't change the nut - the strings rest in the standard nut, and that works just fine. The truss rod needed an adjustment). I really like the sound of my acoustic piccolo bass - it sounds like a large acoustic guitar (no surprice!) The thin strings are very different to play than ordinary bass strings, but I found it rather easy to adjust to it. When this set of strings is dead, I think I will replace them with another set of identical Bass Boomers.
