An authentic replica of the electric guitar from the last third of the production year, the Gibson 60th Anniversary 1960 Les Paul Standard VOS V3 features the extremely slim "Authentic '60 Skinny C" neck profile, "Reflector Knobs" with silver inlays and Kluson "Single Line/Double Ring" tuners. The classic design with a one-piece mahogany body, a flamed maple top and set mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard is of course adopted, while Gibson Custom Buckers promise the authentic vintage tone. The construction of the Gibson 60th Anniversary 1960 Les Paul Standard VOS V3 Washed Bourbon Burst adheres to the historical specifications. Accordingly, the electric guitar has a one-piece mahogany body, which supports the Bookmatched-joined Flamed maple top and a glued mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard. While the use of the long neck-tenon and hard hide glues for all wood joints promises a lively sound with long sustain, the extremely slim "Authentic '60 Skinny C" neck profile offers comfortable playing characteristics. Furthermore, the VOS nitrocellulose finish with a vintage patina conveys the look and feel of a well played-in original.

Equipped with Alnico-III magnets, the humbucker prove to be authentic replicas of the storied PAF-humbucker of the "'Burst" era and deliver an absolutely pristine Vintage-Sound. Vocal mids, punchy articulate bass and a silky treble spectrum combine with the pickups' lively dynamics to create the optimal foundation for the classic sounds of blues and rock. For precise adjustment of the tone, the hand-wired 3-way circuitry with historically correct oil-paper capacitors are installed, whose high-quality CTS potentiometers bear the typical "Reflector Knobs" with silver inlays.
