GIBSON Les Paul Less Plus
A brand new Les Paul is making its debut, and it's called the Less+. This guitar offers great value on a diet. The mahogany body still features the same weight relief routing as the other Les Paul models, but the body has been thinned downed and features a classic carve contoured back. The result is an instrument with an even lighter weight, allowing for hours of comfortable play. While its body has been stripped down, the features and sound have not been compromised and remains typically Gibson. A wonderful balance between classic and modern appointments, the Less+ is ideal for long stage as well studio and practice sessions. The new Les Paul Less+ is equipped with two PAF-style humbuckers - a Classic Plus at the bridge joined by a '57 Classic in the neck, both feature genuine Alnico II magnets and 42-AWG enamel-coated wiring. The coils are wax potted to prevent microphonic squeal. The sound they deliver ranges from crunchy and dirty leads to singing clean tones, and to top it off; a mini-toggle switch for that single-coil sound.
This is my first Gibson and I love it! Amazing sound for Rock Blues and Jazz. Full and fat tone. I like the weight relief of this guitar. The pickups are great and I love the G-System tuner. It really works perfectly! It comes with a Very nice case and very well packed. I trully recomend this guitar!
I love the contour and lightweight body, it's really comfortable guitar, neck is also comfy. Finish looks nice, 57 pickups with coil split offers tone variabillity. I didn't like the G-force tuning system so I've changed it to grover locking tuners. Overall it's great guitar, especially for that price.
The sound of this thing! I honestly have to say that what comes out of this guitar kind of puts my Fender to shame. Incredible tone. Love it. This is an amazing guitar for the price. The detail is incredible. The playability is superb. This is a guitar that you'll never want to part with, if you buy it. I had my doubts about the G-force system but so far I'm really happy with it, saves a lot of time. Buying this guitar, for this price, is one of the best decisions I've made when it comes to buying an instrument. I've no doubt that it's worth every penny. In fact I'm surprised that it's still for sale, for this price, being a 2015 model! I absolutely love it. Thank you, MusicStore! Oh, and it comes with a very luxurious carrying case too. Awesome.
Guitar arrived 3 days after order placed, tone and playability excellent, has all the refinements you'd expect from Gibson. I had heard varying reviews about the auto tuning system, takes a bit of getting used to, but I love it. All in all a fantastic product with excellent service.
