The Godin Arena Pro CW Bourbon Burst Dual Source EQ at a glance
The Godin Arena Pro CW Bourbon Burst Dual Source EQ is perfectly suited for use on stage due to its slim Thinline construction with cutaway and its sophisticated Godin Dual Source pickup system and convinces with its powerful sound image, which unfolds quickly and over a wide area thanks to an interplay of solid tonewoods and a wafer-thin high-gloss finish.
Design and woods
A solid design consisting of a spruce top and mahogany body produces a very defined tone that is quick to respond and long-lasting, so that each note transitions smoothly into the next. The Arena Pro CW owes its distinctly accommodating playability to a flat mahogany neck with a Richlite fingerboard that features 19 frets highlighted with offset dot inlays.
Design and Hardware
Golden classic tuners with 1:16 gearing also guarantee precise tuning of the 6 nylon strings, which intonate cleanly over the entire scale length of just under 652 mm. A perfectly tuned nut with a width of 50.8 mm provides sufficient space so that even complex fingering patterns become child's play. The heart of the concert guitar is clearly the complex, in-house pickup system, which can be individually adjusted via a control in the sound hole. The Arena Pro CW is rounded off by a premium bourbon burst finish, which gives the instrument a traditional look and very tastefully shows off the grain of the woods used.
