S-Model from the Axion Label series with Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers
The Ibanez S61AL-BML Black Mirage Gradation Low Gloss represents the ultra-slim Saber design of the Axion Label Series. Accordingly, the S61AL-BML is equipped with an agile Nitro Wizard Neck and Gotoh MG-T Locking for merciless performance on stage and in the studio. Two active Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers in neck and bridge position offer an extremely flexible sound from articulative clean to modern high gain metal sounds thanks to switchable voicings and additional coil splits via coil tap switches. Thanks to Sub Zero Treatment, the Ibanez S61AL-BML's waistband wire is now particularly resistant and offers clean grip and bendings for a long time to come.

Ibanez never disappoint, and this S series is awesome. Superlight and hugely versatile thanks to the Fishman Fluence Modern pickups that give you active or passive response (via the volume knob in or out) plus split coil options. It will go from Fender like cleans to heavy humbuckers, with a smooth sustain. They are a revelation! The guitar was set up perfectly and is a joy to play... the glow in the dark dots and headstock insignia are pretty cool too!
