The Jack&Danny JB Vintage 1975 Bass possesses a solid Alder body and a bolt-on Maple neck and a Maple fretboard, which work together to produce a crisp address and enduring sustain. The slim neck with conventional dimensions is incredibly comfortable, even for beginners and offers ideal playability for fat grooves and swift solos.
Two classic single-coil pickups ensure for an authentic sound, with transparency and dynamic for every genre and with fully developed mids and singing highs, even in the heavies band sounds. The passive electronics with two volume controls and a tone blend offers a highly versatile sound.
The vintage style bridge guarantees perfect intonation and string action of the Jack & Danny JB Vintage 1975, while robust tuners lend it great tuning stability.
The authentic vintage look of this great beginner’s bass is accented by black block inlays in the fretboard and the three-ply pick-guard.

Very nice model, better than any Squire, and much cheaper! Very nice woods and details. A Item. About the Music Store service, all 5 stars, very fast shipping and all items very well protected. Im very satisfied and will buy again.

Arrived very quickly from Germany to Australia. Great bass for the money, couldn't find anything close for the value. Great blocked and bound neck, has an extremely comfortable profile. Colour is better in person than the images, really captures the Surf Green tone. Plays great out of the box, no major setup required. Highly recommended bass for intermediate players looking for something that looks great and plays well also.

Great looking funky green color (honestly it's even better in real life), and a really nice chunky neck front to back, reminiscent of the real 70's Jazz necks. Finish was almost perfect both on the clear (non-tinted) lacquered neck, and the body (though the pickup cavities were cut a little rough & big in size). Fret ends need some work to be really smooth too.
And although the stock ceramic pickups sound perfectly fine for the price, I upgraded mine with a set of Duncans SJB-1's and now the bass sounds & plays like a real vintage American Jazz.
The only really cheap feeling parts that need to be changed from the get go are imho the tuners and the bridge. I installed some authentic Wilkinsons on mine.
All in all the bass is a real beauty to watch, and feels really nice to play! It features a real alder body, and a solid, stable & great feeling chunky neck. I used mine as base for an upgrade project, but one can use/gig it as is (with only minor upgrades i.e. tuners & bridge).
Highly recommended!!

I bought this J&D jazz 1970s copy after buying it's sister bass, the 1963 fiesta red copy of a P bass. I used this bass on a gig as soon as I received it and the rest of the band were blown away with the sounds and looks of it. Admittedly I replaced the strings with a new set of Half Wounds which improved the sounds and fitted a pair of ashtrays just for looks. I love playing this bass. It is so light compared to the real thing. The High gloss , maple fretboard feels so smooth, far better than the Squire bass and the black, block fretboard inlays make it stand out from the rest of the band. As far as the company, Musicstore, I am so impressed with their service. So friendly. Where could you find service like that in Britain? I ordered it on the Tuesday and it was delivered to my door on Friday morning, and so well packed. This is the third guitar I have bought from Musicstore and it certainly will not be the last. I can not recommend this instrument enough. If you are looking for a bass to practice with or to play in a band. Go for it.
