The Jackson Custom Shop Limited Edition Misha Mansoor So-Cal HSS 2PT Heavy Relic Daphne Blue is a limited edition of the light blue Superstrat in the Relic finish with which Periphery string mager Misha "Bulb" Mansoor caused a stir in the worldwide guitar scene. Handcrafted by Custom Shop Masterbuilder "Red" Dave Nichols, the Misha Mansoor So-Cal Heavy Relic combines the Style of classic vintage instruments with modern playing and sound characteristics. In addition to the extremely agile Caramelized Maple neck with stainless steel fretting, the electric Gitarre features three Bare Knuckle pickups that promise both traditional and modern tones. A perfectly modern hardware setup with Gotoh 2-Point Tremolo and Hipshot tuners completes the Custom Shop Misha Mansoor So-Cal Heavy Relic electric guitar by Jackson.

Traditional style, modern handling
For the construction of the Misha Mansoor So-Cal HSS, Jackson Masterbuilder "Red" Dave Nichols relies on a subtly modernized Strat design and a carefully tuned wood selection that promises a resonance-friendly sound. The lightweight ash body not only features the comfortable "Contour Body" shaping, but also a rounded neck heel and a shredder's cut in the lower cutaway, making it easy to reach the highest registers of the bolt-on neck made of toasted curly maple. The surprisingly beefy neck profile with 20" fretboard radius promises comfortable playing characteristics, while the stainless steel fretting in jumbo format lets bends glide like on rails.
The open spring chamber of the Jackson Misha Mansoor So-Cal Relic uses a Tremol-No system to lock the vibrato system in place.
Two custom single-coils and a Ragnarok humbucker from Bare Knuckle deliver both bell-like vintage tones and tight modern metal tones.
Bare Knuckle Pickups
At the guitar amp the Jackson Custom Misha Mansoor So-Cal Heavy Relic turns out to be a transducer between traditional and modern sound worlds. Two Bare Knuckle Misha Mansoor Custom single-coils in neck and middle position deliver first-class vintage sounds with the right amount of spank and chime for glassy cleans and singing overdrive. In the bridge position, on the other hand, sorgt the Bare Knuckle Ragnarok ceramic humbucker delivers the tight sounds of modern metal, letting every note ring out with razor-sharp precision even at maximum gain. While the 5-way switch manages the HSS setup in the usual manner, general volume and tone controls grant control over the sound.
Open Hipshot Grip-Lock clamping machine heads guarantee a stable and exact tuning of the electric guitar.
Perfectly coordinated hardware equipment
The hardware equipment of the Custom Shop Limited Edition Misha Mansoor So-Cal HSS 2PT Gitarre also bridges the gap between classic looks and modern functionality. The bridge is a Gotoh 510 Custom tremolo, which is mounted on two bolts and offers a very smooth handling. Titanium tailpieces support the brilliant sound of the electric guitar. Another practical detail is the tremolo no-blocking system in the spring chamber, which locks the entire tremolo system if desired. On the traditionally designed headstock, hipshot locking tuners ensure that the electric guitar's tuning is precise and stable Tuning.
