Jeff Loomis Signature guitar with seven strings
Featuring the Jackson Pro Series Signature Jeff Loomis Soloist SL7 EB Satin Black, the Arch Enemy guitarist's seven-string signature guitar offers the best conditions for precise high-speed riffing and virtuoso soloing. While the Soloist design with extended 26.5" scale length (673 mm) combines excellent handling with tight response of every string, active Seymour Duncan Jeff Loomis Blackouts humbuckers provide juicy high-gain sounds with accurate representation of every note played. A Floyd Rose 1500 Series Tremolo and Jackson die-cast tuners complete the Pro Series Signature Jeff Loomis Soloist SL7 7-string electric guitar.
The Jackson Pro Series Signature Jeff Loomis Soloist SL7 EB Satin Black is a 7-string guitar optimized for precise high-speed riffing and strumming.
The smooth transition between the neck and the body makes it easy to reach the higher registers.
7-String Soloist with long scale length.
For his seven-string SL7 EB model, Jeff Loomis chooses the popular Soloist design, which is perfectly tailored to fluid soloing and tight riffing with first-class handling characteristics. While the extended 26.5" scale length (673 mm) guarantees precise representation of all strings even during drop tunings, the full-length maple neck can be played with agile ease up to the highest registers of the ebonyfingerboard thanks to the flat"Speed Neck" profile and compound fingerboard radius. The dignified metal look is also provided by a sandblasted ash top on the basswood body wings.
Jeff Loomis Signature pickups from Seymour Duncan deliver commanding metal tones with precise representation of every note, even at maximum gain on the amp.
Seymour Duncan Jeff Loomis Blackouts
The electrical sound conversion of the Pro Series Jeff Loomis Soloist SL7 naturally take over the active Seymour Duncan Jeff Loomis Blackouts Signature humbuckers of the American metal virtuoso. The pickup equipped with Alnico V magnets combine the powerful voicing of passive high-output pickups with the enormous clarity of active humbuckers and elicit the guitar amplifier juicy distortion sounds that each played note focused and precise representation. But also in the clean channel, the Jeff Loomis Blackouts can score with a harmonious and warm sound. To control the pickup, the electric guitar comes with a 3-way switch and a volume control.
Jackson die-cast tuners precisely tune the Pro Series Jeff Loomis Soloist SL7 to the correct pitch.
Floyd Rose 1500 tremolo
Last but not least, Jackson completes the Pro Series Jeff Loomis Soloist SL7 EB Satin Black 7-string guitar with high-quality hardware that more than meets professional demands on stage and in the recording Studio. The bridge is the Floyd Rose 1500 Series tremolo, which provides the perfect support for advanced lead techniques such as dive bombs or squeals with smooth handling and absolute tuning stability even with the heaviest whammy bar applications. On the headstock in typical JacksonStyledie-cast tuning machines ensure high precision when tuning the guitar. In addition, Dunlop strap locks hold the Jeff Loomis 7-String Soloist securely to the guitar strap.

Jackson Pro Series Signature Jeff Loomis Soloist SL7 EB Satin Black
Excellent guitar! The thin speed neck is very comfortable, it almost doesn't feel like a 7 string. I was a bit worried about the tension of strings on 26.5" scale length, but it is also pretty fine. Floyd Rose is my personal number one choice, and the Floyd Rose 1500 with a pop-in tremolo arm on this guitar is awesome. I guess not so many 7 string guitars generally have a Floyd. And of course, Seymour Duncan Blackouts are real beasts, I enjoy their sound a lot. And the looks.... oh, the looks. Well, just check the pictures yourselves and imagine it being even better in real life. The sandblasted ash is so captivating! As I said in the title, it is the best 7 string guitar that I could find for me without selling my organs for money.
