The NTS-2 is an extremely versatile, practical toolbox for musicians with a color display. Thus, it offers an oscilloscope function for graphical display of the waveforms of up to four inputs and can evaluate various parameters in real time. As an FFT / spectrum analyzer, the device proves to be very helpful and shows where in the measurable frequency range of 20 Hz - 20 kHz what is happening. With the tuner function, you can set individual oscillators or even entire synthesizers to the desired note or tuning in a flash. The range of functions is rounded off with two waveform generators that can optionally output audio signals or control voltages (sine, square, triangle, sawtooth, noise, pulse, envelope) and are therefore perfect for testing audio and CV connections even outside a modular system. Power is supplied either by batteries or via USB-C.
Before getting started with the oscilloscope, this DIY (do it yourself) kit wants to be set up. No soldering work is required: side panels, base and control panel are simply plugged together around the ready-built board and screwed together. Only the display needs to be mounted separately. Assembly instructions and a screwdriver are included in the kit.
