The MFB Tanzmaus MFB-503 Pro Analogue Drum Computer is an analogue drum computer, featuring 64 storable patterns, and includes five analogue instruments and two sample sections, with a compact metal chassis. The Tanzmaus drum computer is a further development of the MFB-503. It offers five analogue percussion instruments and two sample sections, which have access to 16 samples. Furthermore you can program an alternative sample. A chase sequencer stores up to 64 patterns.
You can chain up to 16 different patterns, A/B lets you switch or alternate between A and B. Moreover you can program up to 16 different Flam algorithms. Step length is individually selectable for each instrument. Four different accents are available. Five independent LFOs can be used to modulate the pitch of Bassdrum, Claps, Tom, Sample 1 and Sample 2. They offer four waveforms and can be programmed independently for each step. All Sound parameters can be recorded in step- or realtime mode. The sequencer sends MIDI notes and can trigger other sound sources. An external power supply is included.

Overall sound of this little drum monster is really great, especially 909-ish kick drum. Clap sound very specifically, I can not tell that I like it. Tanzmaus have many useful options, like parameter locks, indvidual outputs, LFOs etc, which I often use in production. Main minus is very strange interface, it's hard to learn. But even you had studied user manual, you will often hate small buttons and small letters of the interface. With all minuses, for that price is best choice for drum machine.
Really nice and gritty sounding drum machine, lots of functions for its price and size. The workflow might seem a bit tricky, but once you read the manual and practice for some time it turns out to be quite logical and not that hard to use.
