In the construction of the Legend 6 V22, Mayones relies on first-class tonewoods that promise a lively sound with pleasant sustain and a stunning look. While a flamed maple top on the alder body provides an exquisite look, the set maple and mahogany neck offers an extremely comfortable C-profile. In addition, 22 stainless steel frets in extra jumbo format guarantee smooth running bendings in the ebony fingerboard.
Lollar pickups for exquisite vintage sounds
The pickup of the Legend 6 is provided by the American pickup specialist Lollar. In the bridge position a Lollar Imperial Low-Wind Humbucker with moderate output and Alnico-II magnets provide absolutely authentic vintage sounds, whose specialty is in the wide field between blues and rock. The Lollar Blackface single coils with Alnico V magnetsin the neck and middle position, on the other hand, deliver authentic '60s sounds with pleasant bell-like chime and lively dynamic behavior.
Hardware from Gotoh and Hipshot
The bridge on the Legend 6 V22 is a Gotoh 510 tremolo. Mounted on two pins, the system offers smooth handling and allows for gently modulating pitch bends. A Graph Tech Black TUSQ nut and the popular Hipshot locking tuners provide unshakable tuning stability. In addition, Schaller S-Locks hold the Legend 6 electric guitar securely to the strap.
