With the Ortega TZSM 3 Thomas Zwijsen classical guitar, the fingerstyle acrobat Thomas Zwijsen now also receives an exceptional signature model, which is designed to match his demands. The semi-massive guitar comes with a top made of Canadian spruce and a laminated body made of split maple, which produce a particularly bright, clear, but also bass-rich tone with a fast response. A comfortably constructed mahogany neck with maple fingerboard, a scale length of 650 mm and a nut width of 48 mm allows even difficult heavy metal riffs to become a breeze. In addition, the Ortega TZSM 3 Thomas Zwijsen guitar is equipped with a Fishman Clásica Blend pickup system and comes including gig bag.
Thanks to its composition of perfectly matched woods, the rather flat body can produce a powerful and balanced sound. The top made of solid Canadian spruce produces a very clear and precise sound in the high frequencies and is complemented by a bass-rich maple body that produces a very almost attack. Thanks to a natural matte finish, the distinctive grain of the maple wood stands out visually, giving each instrument an individual touch.
The robust mahogany neck with a light maple fingerboard catches the eye of the beholder very quickly. With a narrow nut width of 48 mm, the light neck can be played particularly quickly and light-footedly and, paired with the cutaway, invites you to reach up to the highest of the 19 frets. A flat neck profile in combination with a light fingerboard radius rounds off the playing experience perfectly, just as Thomas Zwijsen intended.
Not only in terms of sound and appearance, the Ortega TZSM 3 Thomas Zwijsen proves that it is made to the specifications of a virtuoso guitar player. A high-quality Mother of Pearl soundhole rosette with alternating walnut and maple and a custom logo with crown and signature on the back of the headstock show that the manufacturer has taken into account the preferences of the artist even in the finest details. A high-quality Fishman Clásica Blend pickup system with XLR output allows for trouble-free use on stage, even without a D.I. box. The guitar comes in a sturdy padded Thomas Zwijsen Signature gig bag.
