Proven Singlecut design
For the construction of the PRS Tremonti the Marylander guitar makers around Paul Reed Smith rely on proven ingredients and manufacture the Singlecut body from selected mahogany with an intensively grained curly maple top. In combination with the glued mahogany neck, the Signature electric guitar delivers a fat basic sound with balanced attack and sustain, which is the perfect basis for heavy riffs and singing solos. With the "Pattern Thin" profile, the neck offers a comfortable playing feel, while the Bird inlays typical of Paul Reed Smith facilitate orientation between the 22 frets of the rosewood fingerboard.
Tremonti Humbucker
The Paul Reed Smith Mark Tremonti Signature electric guitar uses two humbuckers specially developed for this model. The open Tremonti Treble Humbucker on the bridge makes the amplifier sweat with its high output and convinces with its aggressive sound, which lets riffs and leads cut through the band sound with precise articulation even in low moods. Its counterpart on the neck is the capped Tremonti Bass Humbucker, whose harmonious, warm sound forms the perfect basis for clear chords and arpeggios in the clean channel or singing leads on overdrive.
