Says it all really. If you're a turntablist and a battle style DJ then these controllers are a must. They work seamlessly with serato and can work without needing the rane 72 mixer. Options like reloop elite, mixars duo/quatro work perfectly. The decks themselves work just like the feel you get from a technics 1200. All without needing the tone arm. The only down side is you can't play your old vinyl collection but hasn't that been the whole point from years gone when we would moan carrying 200 records to the club? No need for that huge record collection apart from nostalgia. Turn the laptop on, open serato choose a track, drop it into the deck and control it like you would with vinyl. Handy needle skip touch pads to search quickly without the use of the mouse. The only negative I can give is the power switch has now been moved under the deck?? Mental that you have to tip the deck to find the power switch. Don't let this tiny annoyance put you off buy them.
