Traditional A-style construction with F sound holes
The Red Hill A-Style Mandolin Sunburst at a glance.
Due to the interplay of traditional construction and a great finish, the Red Hill A-Style Mandolin is excellent for beginners and for advanced players. Thus, the instrument comes in a teardrop-shaped construction, which promises easy handling and gives the sound a warm character. At the same time, the ultra-thin laminated basswood of the body ensures an almost attack and pronounced mid and treble frequencies. The non-slip lime neck is easy and accommodating to grip at all 20 frets thanks to its rounded profile and slim 30mm nut width. The sturdy composite fingerboard is marked with subtle dot inlays for orientation and perfectly contrasts the dark material. Chrome-plated open-gear tuners are set into the slim headstock, guaranteeing precise tuning of the 8 steel strings. The tailpiece is covered with a richly decorated chrome cover, which adds an individual touch to the mandolin's appearance. Moreover, the top is edged with a multi-ply binding and is protected by a black pickguard. The glossy sunburst finish gives the instrument the final touch, so all in all one can speak of an unbeatable price/performance ratio.
