Wow, the difference in my mixes is pretty big. Even just getting this for the headphone presets will help a lot with translation for any of the listed cans.
I have HD650s and they always translate bass heavy for me and also are a wee bit bright in the mids. Turn on the preset and bam, much better.
I am also in the process of treating my room properly and its been great to see the difference as I add more traps and remeasure.
Pro tip - if the mic icon is jumping around and you cant measure just turn up your speakers a bit! This drove me crazy until I figured it out :P
Listening to my speakers after applying the measured preset is night and day for me with the clarity in the low end and low mid. Im a happy customer.
They lose a star for it not being windows 11 perfect. You have to reinstall the virtual audio device driver every time you reboot but they promise a fix in Feb so not too bad.
Overall, even if you're doing just mixing on cans I would recommend this bad boy as, for me, it really does make a difference.
