At the heart of the system is a compact digital receiver that can be operated intuitively by wireless novices and experienced professionals alike. Practical functions such as Bluetooth synchronization and control via the Smart Assist app save valuable time at Set. The user-facing OLED display makes menu navigation easier and is easy to read even in poor lighting conditions and from an unfavorable angle. Intelligent notifications help with troubleshooting and suggest possible solutions if a problem occurs.
One or more receivers can be smartly integrated into the camera setup using the magnetic mounting plate. Various power supply options provide support for long location shoots.
The scope of delivery includes the EW-DP EK digital portable single-channel receiver, the EW-D SK digital bodypack transmitter, the ME 2 clip-on microphone (omnidirectional), the EW-DP SKP digital plug-on transmitter, a mounting set (mounting plate, camera adapter, belt clip, screws), Li-ion battery and other accessories. It therefore offers the greatest flexibility of all EW-DP systems. The SKP plug-on transmitter converts any wired microphone into a wireless one. It has an XLR input with +48 V phantom power, a lockable 3.5 mm input for clip-on microphones and a slot for a microSD card onto which the audio signal can be recorded if required (24 bit, 48 kHz). The SKP is an extremely versatile tool and a real problem solver: everything from tethered shotgun microphones to standard and studio microphones and clip-on microphones can be connected and turned into a wireless microphone in no time at all.
