12-string electro acoustic guitar, solid Sitka spruce top, maple body, Micarta fingerboard, gold hardware, Fishman Sonitone pickup system
With the Sigma GJA12-SG200+, a new 12-string acoustic guitar in a classic jumbo outfit enters the guitar world. A solid Sitka spruce top gives the guitar a very bright and clear sound which, in combination with the rich basses of the huge maple body, produces a very balanced sound. The popular double-stringing can be played very comfortably thanks to a solid maple neck with a 47.6 mm nut width and a 645 mm scale length creating a very beautiful and distinctive chorus effect. Furthermore, the guitar is equipped with golden Grover mini tuners, which not only guarantee easy and precise tuning, but also harmonise perfectly with the MOP Crown Inlays and the chic Sunburst finish. A Fishman Sonitone pickup system also allows for trouble-free use on stage due to its simple adjustment options.
This 12 string from Sigma is a revelation! It looks and sounds like the super- jumbo it is copying to such an extent that it’s hard to see why anybody would want to pay 4 times as much for the original. It arrived in pristine condition and had obviously been set up properly by DV247 - after a tune up it rang out like a bell with sparkling trebles and fantastic depth in the bass. Anybody who enjoys Neil Young or Led Zep acoustic will love this guitar. The Sonitone pickup is great but the guitar is so loud unamplified that you hardly need it. A top professional guitar for a semi- pro price!
