12-string acoustic guitar with grand-jumbo body, solid Sitka spruce top, mahogany body and pickup system
With the Sigma GJM12E the manufacturer Sigma presents a voluminous grand-jumbo acoustic guitar with 12 strings, high-quality materials and a powerful double-choir sound. The bright tone is significantly influenced by the solid spruce top, harmonising perfectly with the back and sides of the laminated mahogany body. The flat mahogany neck with its micarta fretboard is perfectly matched to the other parts and, in combination with a generous nut width of 47.6 mm and scale length of 645 mm, provides excellent playability. Another highlight is Sigma's own pickup system, which includes a 3-band equalizer and an integrated tuner. The protruding head plate is equipped with chrome-plated die-cast tuners, which enable precise tuning of the 12 steel strings. A compensated saddle and a bone nut ensure a clean intonation in all 20 frets. The Sigma GJM12E is completed by a wafer-thin matt varnish, which not only allows the wood to vibrate freely but also emphasises the even grain of the material.
The Sigma GJM12E is a giant 12-string guitar with a rich and powerful sound.
