The Solid Gold FX Communication Breakdown is a versatile fuzz effects pedal that uses two independent vintage-style circuits to deliver authentic sixties- and seventies-style rock sounds. The independent fuzz circuits can be used separately or together. While Fuzz A features two hot silicon transistors and correspondingly delivers powerful distortion, Fuzz B delivers an extremely saturated yet stable fuzz sound thanks to the JFET preamp. In addition to Gain and Volume controls for adjusting the distortion intensity and volume of each channel, the Solid Gold FX Communication Breakdown features two BIAS controls that determine the power supply to the effect circuits and thus their basic sound character. Two three-position color switches control the treble and midrange of each fuzz circuit, while the input switches allow you to adjust the input attenuation.
