The Tama PBTH15 bag is a transport and storage bag for drum throns from the Powerpad series. With the drum bags of the Powerpad series Tama introduces the successor of the DX series. Existing features have been improved over the DX series, and some interesting things have been added to make these bags the ideal solution for transporting or storing your drums. For example, all pockets are now equipped with size and name plates to facilitate the assignment of the drums. With the large red zippers, the Powerpad bags also stand out visually from other bags.
Having recently purchased the single pedal bag in the same Powerpad range, I was sufficiently impressed with the build quality, aesthetics, and practicality of the bag, so much so that I decided to buy this Powerpad throne bag on the basis of that first purchase. I use a Roc 'n' Soc round seat with the Tama HTB5 backrest and was looking for a bag that would enable me to put the seat top in the bag with the backrest still attached for convenience. The good news is that it fits perfectly, and not only that but it fits my single pedal bag in there too, at the bottom with the divider folded down (I put my seat base in my traps case, as usual). Given that this fills the bag to capacity, without putting any strain on seams or zip, it leaves the front outer pocket only viable for thin items (sheet music, notes, magazines, etc), but this isn't a problem as I hadn't intended to use this compartment for anything bulkier. Only time will tell as to its durability, but knowing Tama's reputation for the build strength of its products, I have confidence in it. Well recommended.
