The Vic Firth SIH2 Isolation Headphone is a stereo headphone specially designed for drummers. The successor to the legendary SIH1 from Vic Firth has a larger speaker and a differentiated frequency range. The volume from the outside is attenuated by 25 dB, which is equivalent to an adapted in-ear monitor for drummers. The Vic Firth drummer headphones are perfect for live use on stage, but they are also very useful in the studio or rehearsal room. A reinforced carrying handle exerts strong but nevertheless pleasant pressure, so the SIH2 from Vic Firth always sits securely and comfortably. The closed system has a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz and a 50m/m Dynamic Mylarcon speaker. The scope of delivery includes a 6.3 mm and a 3.5 mm jack plug. The new carbon look completes the elegant and modern design of the headphones for drummers.
Vic-Firth SIH2 Isolation Headphone StereoThey’re ok, I normally play with 3M Optime II which reduce noise level by -31db. These guys reduce by -25db, that’s a noticeable difference to me so I use in ear plugs as well. Was pretty happy after 3 hours playing.
If this wins the prize draw please god don’t send me a laptop bag. They look naff. Ta.
My son is 10 and had outgrown his junior ear defenders for drumming. These headphones give good protection and allow him to listen to music while playing. Fast delivery from Germany to Ireland
We are happy all round.
Quite small for my ears, but well made. Sound is fine for price but obviously not like £150+ studio monitors. Great for drum practice. Lead is quite short though - perfect for use with iPod, but get an extension if needed for your setup.
Not because of my drums, but because of the new headphones I just got.
For a while I've been struggling to find confidence in recording myself because I would play too loud and lose my timing, even if using a metronome.
Turns out this whole time it was because I couldn't hear myself properly. These bad boys are a game changer. Recommend to all drummers out there.
