Yamaha APX600 (Oriental Blue Burst) Electro-Acoustic Guitar
The Yamaha APX600 (Oriental Blue Burst) is a 6-string Electro-Acoustic Guitar featuring a unique under-saddle piezo pick-up, the Yamaha proprietary SRT transducer featured in the highly-acclaimed A-Series range, a natural tone with the feedback rejection and mix-friendly sound Guitarists crave. As an Electric Guitarist in the '80s, if you wanted to play Acoustic on stage there weren’t many options available. So in 1987, Yamaha made the first Acoustic Guitar that could be taken from a rack, plugged in and played at volume, problem free; the days of screaming feedback, mis-placed mics and indefinitely extended sound checks were over. The style has moved with the times, but the essence of the APX remains the same. Today, it boasts a more natural look, a deeper body for better bass response and greater volume, and a new non-scalloped bracing pattern for a responsive, dynamic tone.

The guitar is comfortable and easy to play. Has a clean, well-balanced sound. Cutaway design for easy access to the higher frets. Affordable price. Its small and the neck is ideal for younger and smaller-handed players. A good sound, but it doesn’t sound like a dreadnaught. The sound is NOT full, like the sound coming out of a dreadnought body. Too much to end when amplified, but this is easily adjusted with the EQ. It produces a rich, clear sound through amp.

Very nice, solid Yamaha Guitar, excellent Yamaha workmanship as always and the usual excellent service from musicstore, extremely fast delivery and a great price!!
First class service from ordering online to delivery. I was kept informed of delivery date etc from day one. Packaging was excellent. Was so pleased with service I now intend to order a card case for guitar thanks again.
