The Caroline Guitar Company Parabola Effects Pedal is a masterpiece of both classic soft tremolo sounds and wacky stutter effects. The "AM/FT" switch selects between the "Amplitude Modulated" and the "Filter Tremolo" mode, both of which have distinctive sound characteristics, while the "FST/SLO" switch determines the spectrum of the "Speed" pot. As usual, the intensity of the tremolo effect is also controlled by the "Depth" control. A special feature of the Caroline Guitar Company Parabola are the "Havoc" footswitch, which allows the "Speed" and "Depth" settings to be briefly set to their maximum, and the "Attack" knob, which regulates the gain in the pedal's preamplifier and thus brings the right portion of overdrive into effect if required.
