The Evans B14RES7 Reso 7 14" Coated Tom Head is a 14" tom head. Reso 7 heads are coated, and made from single-ply plastic. Evans Reso 7 series features a single ply of coated 7mil film that provides a full tonal response with a shortened sustain without the need for additional muffling. With the Reso 7 heads, The thin resonating head has a similar effect on the sound as a thicker batter head, only with significantly less sustain.
