The stand is easy to set up, the rubber pad are great. I just wish I could set it a bit lower.
Great stand for the price, my snare is hold tight (very very slight wobble).

This snare stand is a bit thinner and lighter than what I'd prefer, but nevertheless it gets the job done. I use it for wooden 14x5 snare and it supports it fairly well, but I'm a gentle hitter. With hard hitting it rocks a bit. As is the case with any snare stand that doesn't have ball adjustment mechanism it is difficult to set the snare angle precisely the way you want it. I will definitely upgrade to a 9000 series one, but until then, this one will function just fine.
