Authentic construction
Like the Steve Harris original, only maple is used in the construction of the Artist Series SignatureBass . On the white Finish the two-piece maple body presents chic pinstripes and the crest of the West Ham United Football Club, for which Harris was to play as a professional footballer before his musical career. The pleasantly grippy maple neck in U-profile with 41 mm nut width also promises the best conditions for implementing driving metal basslines with the typical galloping rhythms.
A Seymour Duncan Steve Harris Signature pickup with traditional passive electronics delivers crisp bass tones.
Seymour Duncan Steve Harris Pickup
As pickup on the Steve Harris bass guitar naturally a Seymour Duncan Steve Harris Signature split coil is used. The pickup, equipped with hand-cut Alnico V magnets, promises a rich punch with a Boost in the low mids, while the Attack remains audible through the brilliant treble spectrum even in the densest band mix. Also included with the bass is a set of Rotosound Steve Harris Monel Flatwound bass strings, which give the four-stringer not only a smooth feel, but also the authentic sound of the Iron Maiden rhythm magician. For control over the Bass sound, the four-string is equipped with traditional passive electronics consisting of a volume knob and treble slider.
In addition to the printed signature Iron Maiden woofer, the headstock of the Steve Harris P-Bass features tuning-stable open-gear tuners.
Indestructible Hardware Equipment
Of course, the Fender Steve Harris Signature P-Bass comes with a high-quality hardware equipment, which also completes hard applications on stage with unlimited reliability. The extremely robust HiMass bridge not only supports the crisp tone of the electric bass guitar, but also guarantees optimal intonation and string action adjustment. On the headstock, open-gear tun ers in the '70s Style ensure a precise Tuning with unshakable stability.
