Fender American Acoustasonic Telecaster (Sunburst)
The Fender American Acoustasonic Telecaster (Sunburst) is a unique instrument in the Fender catalogue, combining the iconic looks of the Telecaster with those of a thin-line electro-acoustic guitar. The Acoustasonic Telecaster features Acoustic Engine technology, developed by Fender in association with Fishman to provide a range of both acoustic and electric tones from the hollow body. The pick-up rests in the bridge position, and can be blended with an acoustic voice or used by itself. Other original elements of the Acoustasonic Telecaster include the Stringed Instrument Resonance System (SIRS), inlaid top and exclusive electronics.

Fender American Acoustasonic Telecaster (Sunburst)
I have only had this guitar for a few days. My view is that it is a well made mass produced instrument with the benefit of modern manufacturing techniques like CNC and modern electronics. It also benefits from not having lacquer applied and it is very light. Playing and sound wise it is fun and links that experience of playing an electric acoustically but also generating good emulations of acoustic tone when amplified. The electric fender tone I still haven't quite got nailed as it's shown in countless Youtube demos. It is still early days for me to really explore it but I like the idea of getting quirky combinations from it and recording with it. Especially acoustic processed lots of my Stymon pedals and Valhalla DSP plugins etc . Also looping about with it in the house will be fun. I think its a little expensive even though I got mine at a very good price from dv247. The seafoam green is probably not to everyone's taste but I like it even more than I thought I would.

Been trying to learn on an acoustic guitar and seem to keep tilting it to see what I’m doing, I don’t do it with this being so slim bodied. Love this guitar, well made and looks great.
