The Fender 1951 Precision Bass Relic MN Sonic Blue from the Fender Custom Shop in sunny California conveys the sound and feel of the very first electric bass like no other instrument. Accordingly, the four-string has a slab body made of ash, while the classically screwed neck is made in one piece of maple with standing annual rings (quartersawn maple) and carries the classic Telecaster headstock of the original from the 1950s. With its powerful "51 P-Bass U" profile, the neck fits snugly and comfortably in the hand, so that between the 20 frets, any groove can easily get out of your fingers. On the amplifier, the classic Fender single coil bass pickup promises a distinctive bass tone that intersperses every groove with sharp mid-focus in the band sound. In addition, the Fender 1951 Precision Bass is equipped with a Fender Vintage bass bridge, open Vintage tuners and historically correct covers for bridge and pickup.
